I can not lie the Mercedes-Benz G Wagon (Geländewagen) is one of my favorite SUV's. I like the timeless design and the aggressive stance. The looks of the G-Wagen are subjective, you either love or hate it. Granted the design is decades old with small changes over the years. The G-Wagen comes in different versions (G 550, G63 AMG, & G65 AMG) a mix of twin turbo V8 and V12 engines. There are different versions on the G-Wagen; for example they have a six by six and another called the 4x4 squared, which are baby monster trucks. A little history on the G-Wagen is the G-Wagen is a Mercedes that was developed as a safe off-road vehicle. In 1979, the production of the G-Wagen began, later called the G-Class to fall in line with Mercedes-Benz naming structure. G-Wagen's engine is hand built which makes them more expensive. The G-Wagen that I had the joy of taking photos of was the G63 AMG. I am taking a break from bagged cars but that series will start again soon. So stay tuned!
